Here is large barn which the family used to produce mink. In fact at one time Joyces family had 5000 mink on the farm. The fur was sold to the Famous Flemington Fur Company, and the carcass for pet food. In fact there is an old walk in freezer still in the barn. Note the new roof which Fred and I installed with the help from my farm neighbor Walt.
People at work ask me what I do to relax since it seems like I am always fixing some major thing. My reply to them is quite simple. First I get to play with neat equipment, which although is still work, running a backhoe or a big tractor requires a concentration which is almost like meditation. It is during the periods of brush-hogging or operating machinery which for me becomes quite relaxing. Continue the tour
